Anton Joseph and Mary "Lena" (Zinck) Rist family photo was taken in front of their expanded farm house four miles east of Mascoutah about 1912.  From Left to Right are: Adelia "Dala", Anton Joseph, Edna, Clara, Eleanora, Mary "Lena" holding Tillie, Josephine, and Edwina.
This house no longer is standing and was built by Anton Joseph of one of three farms owned by Lena's father Lorenz Zinck. It was located about four miles East of the city of Mascoutah.  The family lived here until Anton retired from farming and they moved to Belleville, Illinois where he continued working other jobs until he died in 1946.  His wife and several of the daughters also lived in Belleville.
